Welcome to our Health Page.  As people search for affordable medical insurance, we understand the need to shop around for the best product that money can buy.  We know that we cannot wait for the Government to find us health coverage.  This is our fight and we must make our own determination.

Thank you for visiting!

You come back now!

The sad reality is that over 40 million Americans have no help with medical expenses.  Some workers have the semblance of some kind of medical insurance at work, but the truth is - it's not enough.  It's no secret that health costs are constantly rising and many employers simply cannot afford to provide health insurance.  What we find is that year after year, many employers find ways to pay less and pass on more of the cost of funding health plans to employees.  Consequently, more of the family budget goes into healthcare.

This is even worse for families that have no health plan at all - none - nada - nil - zero.

Now, what if there is a company that understands the pain that people feel every time a medical situation arises - not just the pain from the physical ailment, but the added pain of having no health plan, no health insurance - however inadequate it may be?

There are companies that provide various health plans.   But there are keys to remember when searching for a health plan:

1. Like most people, you will want a low deductible.  However, the trick with deductibles is that the lower your premium, the higher your deductible.  What it means to have a deductible is that you must pay a certain amount in coverage from your own pocket before the insurance company begins to pick up the tab;

2. If your family is pretty healthy - although we never know when something unexpected will strike - you may want to consider a health savings account (HSAs).  HSAs were created by the Medicare Bill signed by President George W. Bush in 2003 and designed to help individuals/families save for future medical treatment on a tax free basis.  Read more about HSAs by clicking here; and,

3. Take preventive measures.  To minimize health risks and issues, one can take certain actions: watch one's food intake; stack up on vegetables, fruits, water and more fiber-rich foods, and increase physical activity - walking, jogging and if married, sex.  Yes, sex is said to burn a lot of calories.
